A brain-inspired approach to learning
through music, neuroscience, and policy

WE DO THIS BY
Explaining neuroscience concepts in simple and plain language
Using music as a lens to explore memory, learning, and neuroplasticity
Analyzing health and education policy through evidence-based debate
Translating academic research into publicly accessible summaries and resources
Convey how
health policies impact different demographic groups, including the elderly
Curating interdisciplinary materials that highlight learning through culture, science, and equity

Hey! I’m Yash Kini, a sophomore at James Madison High School with a deep-rooted passion for music, neuroscience, and interdisciplinary learning. Growing up in a musical household, I explored piano and drums before finding my home in the euphonium, which sparked my interest in how the brain coordinates complex processes to create expression. I carry this mindset into my musical pursuits, Congressional Debate - where I examine how policy shapes healthcare and education, and my research in neuroscience and AI - where I explore brain-inspired learning systems. NeuroThread reflects this journey, bringing together music, science, and policy to better understand the brain and the world around us.
